These are some of the rescue dogs we have looking for homes in the north west

Jet

4 year entire. Vaccinated. Lovely gentle dog who currently not getting attention or exercise he deserves. Bit of a softie when it comes to windy or wet weather but sure with proper routine overcome his fair-weather ways! Very good with other dogs not sure about cats and loves to play with children. Has good basic re call and training and seems a very obedient kind tempered dog.

Juno

One year old entire dog who just loves to play. Very affectionate, has lots of energy and eager to please. Would suit a home with older children but not good with cats. He is vaccinated and currently residing with Rain Rescue. For more information on Juno please contact dogs@rainrescue.co.uk

Honey - Liverpool

Honey is 5yrs spayed vaccinated and microchipped. Honey is good with children of all ages and other dogs but cannot live with cats. She barks when new people arrive but is very friendly and demands cuddles from them! She is happy being left for short periods, travels well and is a good girl at the vets. Honey has a good level of obedience and enjoys  games especially when a ball is involved, she is a much loved pet who is very loyal to her family, her owners are moving abroad at the end of July can you give this girl a new home? Honey will need an exercise program to help her shed some of those unwanted pounds!

Molly - Lancs

Molly is 4yrs entire and microchipped. Molly can be a little timid on first meeting but is a very friendly girl once she knows you, her current owner hasnt had the confidence to socialise her properly, but she is fine once she has met the other dog and has lived with another, cannot live with cats and older children only. She has a good level of basic training, but she hasnt been off lead very much so further training will be needed there. Molly travels well,  is happy left for short periods and is a good girl at the vets. Can you give Molly the home she deserves?

Zoe- Manchester

Zoe is 6yrs entire and vaccinated. She is currently living with very young children, is good with other dogs but has never lived with cats. Zoe is a lovely family pet with a great temperament, who has a good level of training both on and off lead, is happy to be left for short periods, travels well and is a good girl at the vets. She loves her walks, especially if you take a ball and has no health issues. Zoe is needing a new home due to a family member being ill, she will make a wonderful addition to any family.

Jez - Cheshire

Jez is 7 yrs neutered and vaccinated. Jez hasnt had a great life so far but is now in foster care where he is learning to be a dog again, he is begining to play with the other dog in the house, but would be best as theonly dog in his new home or with an older calm female, he is good with cats but has never lived with children. Jez is very loyal to his owner, and his training is coming on lots in foster care, Jez has a hip problem which is treated with tablets, but has had a full medical and has no other health problems. Jez is looking for his retirement home with plenty of exercise time and cuddles.

Kaiser - Manchester

Kaizer is 2yrs neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. He is a young lad who is currently living in a flat and being left for long periods of time. He has never had his own garden to play in, but is very laid back and doesn't chew or bark whilst left. Kaizer walks well on the lead, owner uses halti, he has never lived with children but is very friendly so older ones in the home would be fine he cannot live with cats. Kaizer hasn't had as much socialization as he should have, but is good with the dogs he does get to meet so could live with a female. He will need an active family who will give him the exercise and training he needs so he continues to grow into a super dog.

Tizzy - Cheshire

Tizzy is 8 yrs spayed and up to date with vaccinations. Tizzys owner has sadly passed away, she is a very loving girl who is a little overweight due to lack of exercise as the owner was poorly for a while, but has no health issues and with regular walks which she very much enjoys and is still very active this will soon come off. Tizzy is good with other dogs of all sizes, we recommend older children in the new home, because she doesnt need to live with younger ones but visiting ones would be ok and cats are unknown. She is very good with people, is happy being left for short periods and enjoys travelling especially for a new walk! Tizzy has a very good level of obedience both on and off lead, she would suit a retired person or a quiter family home with or without another dog.

Jess- Lancs

Jess is 4yrs spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Jess is currently in foster with another male gsd x and is enjoying having the company she wasnt socialized very much in her last home due to the owners inexperience so this has brought her confidence up lots, she is very good out walking and has very good recall, however she doesnt like smaller dogs so this will need work. Jess can live with older children but cannot live with cats. Jess can be left for several hours, but this will need to be built up in her new home as moving around has been quite stressful for her, she is crate trained, travels well, and after intial bark is good with new people. Jess could happily have a male friend in her new home or be the only pet, she needs a family or person who will give her the loving home she so deserves.

Theo

This beautiful boy is 4 year old Theo who will need an experienced owner to provide him with time for exercise and socialization.  He currently lives with another dog and children but would now be best placed with much older teenagers.  Although he lives with another dog and gets on well with her, he does not like other dogs when out.  He is fully vaccinated and neutered.  He requires a home with GSD experience who will guide and stimulate him, in return you will have a fabulous loving dog.
